Generation Renovation: Project Lunchroom
by Jadwega Handorf - Sunday, 25 February 2007, 11:27 AM
On February 9-10 we commenced with our C.L.A.S.S grant project bringing some
life to the Reek Elementary cafeteria. Both days were full of fun and hard work,
and we pulled off painting the entire cafeteria by 6:00pm on Saturday. So thank
you to all the volunteers who came to help out. Without your support, we
wouldn't have been able to make this project work so well! Thanks! And if you
would like more information, our project was published in the Lake Geneva
Regional News. So thanks again to everyone who helped make our project a
success!

On Monday, November 13th, we had a meeting in the Winston Paul Education Center.
We had a great turnout and everyone seemed to enjoy the free pizza and
childcare! We had Ann Phillips come to speak to us on what it's like to be a
first-year teacher. After that, we had a presentation on PI 34 and Wisconsin
Licensure. Click Here to download
PI_34.ppt some materials we discussed!

The Fall PDS was a huge success! Theresa Phillips, Cathy Alm, Jadwega Handorf,
and Jenny Lathrop found the sessions to be very informative. They were able to
not only get information on what matters to them, they were also able to network
with different principals and teachers from the area. Stay tuned for more
information on the Spring Professional Development Seminar!
