Substitute Teaching

Illinois

Applicants need to have a degree and

1. Go to the District Office to apply for a substitute teaching certificate.

2. Fill out forms with the School District where you want to substitute teach.

3. That school district will send you back to the district office to get finger printed.

4. Go to county health facility for a TB Test.

Wisconsin

Applicants need to have a degree, complete the paperwork and complete a course for substitute teachers. WEAC provides courses as well, see link below.
